Tuesday, March 8, 2011 - Ovide Lamontagne at Barnstead-Alton Republican Committee (BARC) Meeting
Hi All,
Mark your calendars - We've got a great meeting planned for next Tuesday, March 8 at J.J. Goodwin's Restaurant, 769 Suncook Valley Highway (Rt 28), in Center Barnstead.
Following a short business meeting at 6:30 pm, well-known activist and candidate for the US Senate nomination in 2010, Ovide Lamontagne will be our guest speaker. To refresh your memory, Ovide's campaign came on very strong in the waning days of the US Senate primary campaign last September, coming up only 1659 votes short. But in the interest of Party unity, Ovide decided not to ask for a recount, and then supported Kelly Ayotte in her successful run against Democrat, Paul Hodes in November.
Ovide will talk about this past November’s election, and his Granite Oath PAC that is focused on bringing conservative presidential hopefuls to New Hampshire to speak. On top of that, rumor has it that Ovide may be getting primed for another election in 2012. Who knows, maybe he'll share his intentions with us next Tuesday. In case he does, the only way that you'll be the first to know is if you come to our next meeting; don't miss this one!
And remember, if you're interested in having dinner or want to socialize before the meeting, plan to arrive as early as 5:30pm. For more information, please send an email to Barnstead.Alton.RepubComm@gmail.com or check out the BARC website
