NHGOP CHAIRMAN STATEMENT ON COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AND HARASSMENT
CONCORD-- Jack Kimball, Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party released the following statement regarding the passage of the collective bargaining amendment by the House Finance Committee and the harassment of legislators.
“I am pleased to see the House Finance Committee fighting for the taxpayers. This, in spite of bullying and intimidation tactics perpetrated by the Democrats. These Representatives have stood firmly on the principle that public and private workers should be treated fairly and equally. I applaud their courage.”
Kimball continued,
“There must be civil discourse in order to be productive. There is no place for harassment and fear-tactics. They are unacceptable and will not work. The voters have asked all of our State Representatives to do their job. They will not be intimidated into making decisions that do not benefit the taxpayers of our state. If anything, these antics will only firm up their resolve. The people of New Hampshire will be watching.”
