Barnstead-Alton Republican Committee - Next Meeting - Tuesday, March 9
The Barnstead-Alton Republican Committee (BARC) is
pleased to announce that its next monthly meeting will be held on TUESDAY, MARCH 9 at JJ Goodwin’s Restaurant in Barnstead.
Here are the particulars about the date, time, location, etc of our next BARC meeting:
GUEST SPEAKER:
The public is invited to attend the BARC meeting as it continues our series of open discussions of issues with key leaders and candidates. The Barnstead-Alton Republican Committee (BARC) will hold their next monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 9 at J.J. Goodwin's Restaurant (upstairs), 769 Suncook Valley Rd (Rt 28), Center Barnstead - (603) 364-9780. Following our normal format, dinner (at your option) is at 5:30 pm; the meeting will begin at 6:30 pm.
PLEASE NOTE: TUESDAY, MARCH 9 IS ELECTION DAY IN ALL NH TOWNS. PLEASE PLAN TO VOTE EARLY SO THAT YOU CAN ARRIVE ON TIME AT OUR MEETING.

Also at Tuesday's meeting, in recognition of Women's History Month, the Barnstead-Alton committee will be honoring party female State Representatives: Laurie Boyce, Alida Millham, and Elaine Swinford; Area 5 Vice Chairman Fran Wendelboe, National Committeewoman Phyllis Woods, Register of Probate Karen Brickner, and former state Rep. Janet Allen. Any other Republican women from Alton or Barnstead who have served in elected positions are also invited to attend.
If you've attended in the past, you know that our meetings are informal yet informative. If you've never attended, please feel free to drop in and join us. The 2010 election season is in full swing and we have many fine candidates and Republican leaders who will be joining us each month. In addition to focusing on candidates, we will continue to discuss the hot topics from Washington and Concord, as well as the state and federal constitutions.
BARC meetings tend to be somewhat informal, offering the townspeople of Alton, Barnstead, and surrounding towns an opportunity to talk politics, to hear from the candidates, to see "old" friends, and to make new friends. J.J. Goodwin's restaurant is reasonably priced and offers a casual environment to hear about the Republican Party, to discuss issues and concerns such as the economy, pending legislation, etc., and to hear from your elected officials.
I hope you will join us for an evening of lively and interesting discussion with Gov. Sununu along with honoring our women in office. All Republican and Independent/unaffiliated voters are invited to attend the meeting.
